| Duration of Study: | 4 yr min. - 6 yr max; shorter duration for students granted Advanced Standing entry and/or credit transfer. Students who have already obtained a degree in a discipline other than law, or who have studied law at degree level, may be able to obtain exemption from up to 3 option modules. This shall be assessed in a case by case basis. Students who are eligible for full advanced standing are able to complete the programme in 3 years. Associate Degree, Higher Diploma and Higher Certificate graduates may also be offered with exemption. |

| Recognitions: | This programme is a qualifying law degree, which satisfies the requirement of the academic stage of training to become a barrister or solicitor in England and Wales. Graduates may apply for admission the on-campus Legal Practice Course (LPC) or the Bar Vocational Course (BVC) offered by the Northumbria University. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
